Piece of Mind Therapy and Consulting, LLC is a Vermont based speech-language pathology (SLP) business focused on providing student and client centered services across the state of Vermont.
Services provided include school based SLP evaluations, consultations, and intervention as well as Professional Development Offerings. Services also include 1:1 services for families.
As of the Winter of 2022, all services provided focus on school age individuals.

AAC (Augmentative & Alternative Communication) Evaluations
We believe in neurodiversity affirming evaluations that increase independence, advocacy, and autonomy. We believe in family support in the process, and encouraging all team members to better understand and implement AAC into everyday life. Please note- as of the Fall of 2022, all AAC evaluations are completed collaboratively between Danielle Kent and Leah Sophrin through VT-AAC,LLC
General Speech & Language Evaluations
These evaluations are requested most often for the purposes of assessing eligibility for special education under speech-language impairment. Teams can request specific assessments (a checklist of options is provided when booking the assessment).
Social Communication Evaluations
Teams that are looking for more information surrounding a students social-communication profile can request a social communication evaluation. These neurodiversity affirming evaluations strive to support students to gain tools to support independent and autonomous interactions that bring joy for each student.
